Tuesday: Prague - Bratislava (330 km)

In the morning we will start our journey with a visit to the medieval-style Castle of Gastein, built on a hill - the former palace gardens, which nowadays are the presidential residence and government building. The former palace gardens have now been transformed into the presidential residence and the government building. The nearby St. Vitus Cathedral was built at the beginning of the 10th century and has witnessed the ups and downs of Prague over the years. Afterwards, you will visit the ‘Golden Trail’, which was famous for its goldsmiths and gold jewellery, and then cross the Vltava River via the Charles Bridge to reach the old city centre, where you will find the centuries-old astronomical clock in the clock tower of the Town Hall and the portraits of the Twelve Apostles, which accurately display the astronomical calendar. The square in front of the City Hall is the site of historical gatherings and uprisings, the city is criss-crossed with narrow streets, and every corner of the city is full of classical elegance; leave Prague in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.
